I have purchased furniture from Wayfair for years and never had anything like this happen before, but I am frustrated beyond belief. I ordered this sideboard and it was delivered in two boxes - one with the doors and the other with the frames and hardware. The doors were fine, but the frame was cracked in multiple places, completely damaged, and unusable.
I explained the situation and requested a replacement. Wayfair sent me another set of doors, but no frame. And when I asked them about it, customer service promptly sent out another replacement. But once again it was a set of doors and no frame.
At this point I have one damaged frame and three sets of doors. And Wayfair told me I will need to dispose of or donate the unused items but will not refund me for the item, which is now sold out.
So I’m out nearly 700, with a bunch of broken and unusable furniture in my house.
Customer service was absolutely terrible. I’ve never experienced anything like it - at Wayfair or anywhere before this.
