Fun Medium-Sized Lamp, Great for Kids’ Rooms This is a cute medium-sized table lamp that worked perfectly for my daughter’s room. The shade is made from fabric-covered plastic and is held in place with two rings that clip into slits. Simple construction, a little cheap, but it holds together fine. I was able to shape the “petals” so they looked fairly even, and the overall look is playful and charming. The base is solid and well-balanced, not tippy at all. It takes a standard bulb, which I like better for being able to swap brightness and to colored bulbs for extra fun. The cord is long with a switch built into the wire close to the lamp, and it plugs into a regular two-prong outlet. There is no dimming feature. My 10-year-old loved it so much she took it straight to her bed. It’s perfect for a kid’s room, maybe not quite nice enough for a main living space. Overall, a fun lamp.. Ian. Fridley, MN. This 26” touch control LED Desk Lamp by George Oliver is a beautiful addition to the bedroom, especially for those who like to read in bed. The adjustable head and height allow for a lot of options and flexibility, and the dimming feature is really nice for shared space. My only disappointment is that it isn’t a “touch control” in that the light doesn’t change when you touch the base- you have to use this dial to dim and turn it onoff. It’s not a big deal, but I was under the impression touch control meant tapping the base because this was meant to be for my arthritic grandmother’s room.
