It’s a beautiful piece ! It’s heavy and it looks high end. The bottom part is black with some wood detail showing which makes it even more stunning. No tiny pieces to put it together. They come with 2 big pieces ( the top and the bottom) and medium side pieces , the feet comes separately inside a box. I was very impressed with the quality of this coffee table. Two great things about this coffee table is the fact its very much well packaged (think foam around each layer and corner protectors on the larger pieces) and its incredibly easy to put together, even if you have to do it by yourself. My reason for deducting a star is because when removing one of the stickers numbering the pieces, it removed part of the laminate which was surprising because the sticker wasnt even necessarily that strong. It gave me a bit of concern for the quality and longevity of this piece. This table is probably priced about right for what you get. It is mostly made of plywood with veneers. The staining on my table was less than perfect around some of the joints, with some spots not completely covered, but not too noticeable. I have it in a bonus room, so it does the job. I love the coffee table. It is a great addition to my living room. I gave it 4 stars because of the difficulty to put together, so many parts that could have come already assembled. The hardest part was putting the life top on. Instructions said to look for the arrows so you would know which way to put it on, I had no arrows to see, so I had a 50/50 chance to get it on correctly. Needless to say, I did it wrong and had to take it off and turn it around. It was difficult to get to the area where the screws had to be placed. Took way to long to set up. I did have to contact customer service as a piece was missing on the top that was not noticed until it was all assembled. They were quick to respond and we agreed on a solution.
