This chair is good for relaxing for a short period of time for me as a plus size person, but was not comfortable for me to sit on to eat or watch a show for a few hours. This could be because of my weight (250lbs, 5’4) and back pain I already experience. I thought the angle, cushion and lumbar pillow PLUS purchasing an additional foot stool would help to make it more comfortable as an every day chair, but it didn’t help me too much. I lasted 6 months with this chair before beginning my search for something else. Otherwise, it is an aesthetically pleasing chair, was easy to build, is a suitable accent chair and was very sturdy..
