Instructions are pictures only so be sure to look carefully at each picture to be sure you are putting hinges, screws etc. on the right side of the panels. When we moved into our home last year, I had a very definite idea of what I wanted to do with the breakfast area next to our kitchen. It involved two chests of a very specific size and style. This chest fit the bill perfectly. Such a great transitional style. The inside is roomy and drawers are shallow but work perfectly for k-cups and tea bags on the coffee bar side and great for catch all or silverware drawers. I’m very happy with this. It’s functional, looks good and not too loud. We were looking for something to serve as a bar and store sheet music. The shelf height is not adjustable, and the clearance between shelves is not enough to fit most bottles or music books, so we put only one shelf in rather than two.
