I was in the furniture industry for nearly 30 years with Lane, La-Z-Boy, and finished up as a VP for a Hooker furniture division. The veneer work reminds me of Lane, the ease of assembly reminds me of La-Z-Boy, and the solid construction reminds me of Hooker. So we basically got the best attributes we were looking for. Nice piece and a decent price for it too. Easy to put together and didn’t take too long. It’s in my mudroom for now as a catch all. I don’t like the bottom two pieces that kind of seems like 2x4’s were screwed on as legs I guess It looked weird to me so I took them off and put furniture pads at the bottom. You can see the two bottom pieces in the product pictures so if you don’t like them they don’t have to be put on.
