    Beautiful piece of furniture for the money. Box arrived nearly destroyed, but the parts inside were undamaged thank goodness. Wasn't that difficult to assemble, other than some ambiguity in the diagrams that led me to twice having to undo and redo portions of the stand. Overall very happy with the stand and the retro look it gives our family room!

    I was eagerly awaiting this piece to furnish our new apartment. When it was eventually delivered, we brought it in(it is very heavy). Upon opening though, the main piece has a wide crack across the piece. Have to return it now. All that effort in opening the box(not to mention the entire house is littered with thermocol pieces), for nothing. Quite disappointed to be honest. Now we need to pack this broken mess back into its box for UPS to pick it up.

    This unit has the appearance we were looking for to match our mid-century modern decor. I got lucky in that mine arrived undamaged with all parts intact. It is a bit fussy to put together. Not difficult but lots of small parts to assemble together. My biggest disappointment was that the top of the stand could not adequately support our 77" TV' weight. My TV weighs 79lbs and this weight had the top of the TV stand showing a noticeable bend or bow in the middle after just 3 days of usage. So I went ahead and wall mounted the TV and just use the Simms Media Console as an accent piece below the TV. Also this TV stand is definitely NOT made of solid wood. It's MDF with a veneer overlay. Only the legs are actual solid wood. This is still a very nice looking unit but just be careful about how much weight you pit on it.
