Elin Solid Wood Desk

Perfect writing desk. Just what I was looking for.

Directions were a bit off but I figured out how it went together. Desk was nice but a big disappointment with the drawers. They are VERY shallow. Barely 1.5' deep so cant hold a lot.

I got this desk for my husband to use in the middle of our dining room. It’s that nice that it actually looks great. Love that it’s solid wood, and assembly was soooo easy! I’m going to buy a bunch more for my kids to use!

The table is good quality, tasteful design (I especially like the handles - brass gold is nice). The navy blue is very dark and looks more like black. The drawers do not close firmly and you need to make a push to close it. This is the problem with the whole collection (I have nightstands from the same collection and they have the same problem). Drawers are also not very deep. Table is relatively low, I can barely fit my legs under it (I am 5’6”), so may not be good option for a tall person.

Arrived damaged in a beat-up box, out of which had slipped most of the washers. The pre-made peg holes in one of the side pieces were so misaligned that I couldnt get the pegs to fit in, so I switched the side pieces and wound up with that foot bar on the wrong side. It looks decent now and stands up, but the drawers function poorly and was ultimately way too much of an ordeal for how expensive it was.

I like the style but the drawers are not soft close like advertised. You have to push them in to close them. Disappointing!

My roll top desk didn't get to make the move cross country. This is a great desk, a few marred places but chock it up to giving it some character - nothing bad enough to have to do a return. Love the rich navy color - perfect for my home office.
