Great lamp. Because if the material it was made of, it did not last very long. It was knocked over and it cracked. Will purchase solid wood next time.

Well made, sturdy. Looks more expensive. Lamp shade is a heavier linen, but allows light to come through beautifully with 3 way bulb. Worn design is gorgeous! Looks great next to reading chair.
