  • New rugs may have slight creases or turned edges due to secure packaging. This can last for a few days. To flatten the edges, place a heavy object on the corners or try reverse rolling the rug.

  • The colors of your rug, and how you perceive them, can vary due to a room’s lighting, decor, and your viewing angle.

  • Rugs made of natural fibers, like wool, tend to shed because of loose yarns and the rug’s settling process. This is most common—and expected—when rugs are new, and usually decreases over time. Feel free to trim as needed. This is not a defect.

  • It’s common for rugs made with natural fibers to acquire a smell during shipping due to moisture. Once the rug is unrolled, the scent will fade after a few days, especially if the room is well ventilated.

  • Immediately remove any spills by blotting with a dry cloth. Regular vacuuming will remove embedded dirt and prolong the life of your rug. We recommend removing the beater bar before vacuuming. For deep cleans, use a professional cleaning service.

Laid flat as soon as I took it out the packaging. I think it is great value for the money. A great buy!

    This is the BEST rug!!! After a year of trial and error with multiple rugs, we decided to give this one a go based on other reviews, it seemed to fit all the checkboxes of criteria we needed.

    My husband is in a wheelchair so our options for rugs are very specific and limited. We love that this is thin but I am surprised by how soft and plush this rug actually feels for being so thin. I was nervous the colors would be too bold as I wanted something a little more muted, but after scouring reviews for months, I saw other reviews that depicted the colors and I went with the Ocean/Spice color. I could not be happier with how it pulls the room together. It doesnt seem to slide around, but I don't think I have a fair assessment of that aspect since it's held down by a big table and chairs.

    It was important to us to get a washable/cheap rug, as my husband tracks in a lot of dirt from his wheels and puppy, especially with our dining room being right in front of the back doors. The colors help hide dirt, but so far it's held up with a quick vaccuum when needed (have not tried washing it yet, so can't report on the quality after a wash). We've had it for a month and it still looks brand new! I expect we'll have to replace it given how much traffic it endures between the wheelchair an puppy, but it was cheap so I don't mind!

    The 4 star rating is because this rug is a great value for the price, but buying a rug based on a picture and description is always a risky endeavor as you never really know if what will arrive on your doorstep will look like the picture or something entirely different. This rug is a great example. There are some great things about this rug, including the price, but buyers should be aware of a few things too.

    Color: While the pictures presented a slightly faded, vintage appearance, the rug is actually quite vibrant. It even has hints of pink, yellow and green in it that you cannot really see in the pictures, giving it a more whimsical feel than vintage. I personally love it for my space, but it was unexpected, and is not something that will necessarily have universal appeal.

    Softness: This rug is insanely soft underfoot. In fact, it feels like a thick velvet. My family loves this about it.

    Thickness: This is a low-pile rug, so while it is super soft, it is not thick and lacks the weight to hold it in place. You will want a rug pad underneath. You will also want carpet tape or rug grippers to hold it in place, even with a rug pad, as it slides everywhere. We have a .5 inch pad under our rug, and it still slides around without having the rug grippers on the corners/edges to hold it in place.

    Quality: Let's be candid. Quality rugs are expensive, even when they are on super sale. This rug is not expensive as rugs go, even when it's not on sale, so buyers should be realistic about their expectations when buying a less expensive rug. The design is printed onto the surface of the rug, so the colors do not necessarily penetrate through to the bottom of the pile. This is not readily noticeable, but buyers should be aware. That said, we've had this rug a couple of months now in a high-traffic area of our home, and it appears to be durable. Overall, I'm satisfied with the quality given the price of the rug.

    Cleaning: We haven't had any spills to clean up yet, but the rug vacuums well. Our dog is an overachieving shedder, and I've enjoyed the fact that this rug does not hold onto dog hair the way our old wool rug did. Vacuuming it (with the beater bars on the highest setting) is easy, breezy.

    If you are realistic about what you should expect given the price of the rug, this rug is a great buy. Overall, Loloi has made having a beautiful rug accessible for normal people with normal incomes with this rug.
