***WARNING*** do not put anything that sweats directly on the furniture. I keep cold water by my bedside at night and I noticed I now have multiple tragic water rings on my nightstand from the condensate swelling the particle board. I thought this furniture was particle board with a woodgrain laminate but it is actually just painted particle board with a woodgrain finish.
That being said, this is otherwise a lovely furniture set - good quality for the price. Large drawers in both the nightstands as well as the dresser that glide smoothly. The design of the rails slows movement as the drawers reach the closed position. This is good and bad because: you cannot slam the drawers but you also have to take the extra time to make sure the drawers close all the way. The look is modern and sleek. Took my husband 2 hours to assemble the first night stand, 30 minutes to assemble the second, and 1.5 hours to assemble the dresser. So once he figured out how the first went together, the rest was easy to accomplish.

Don't panic, take your time, look up the tutorial videos.

First of all, if you've put furniture together before, you know this is going to take a chunk of your day. Secondly, train your brain not to panic because the instructions can be confusing. It took me and my husband about 6 hours to put these 3 pieces together. The worst part was dealing with the styrofoam. The instructions can be tedious, but if you look on the front page, there is a scan code that will take you to a YouTube video tutorial. I bought my own glue because the applicator on a bottle is helpful when trying to get dollops into tiny holes. We were so happy when we were done. This furniture is beautiful and very sturdy. I bought unneeded extra brackets to fortify the frame (will be returning those unnecessary brackets) because this stuff is solid!
