Consider a 5’ x 8’ rug for smaller living rooms. We recommend placing the front legs of your sofa on the rug so it’s not “floating” in the middle of the room.

8’ x 10’

8’ x 10’ rugs look great in most living room settings. This size allows you to place the front legs of your furniture on the rug, which ties things together.

9’ x 12’+

In larger living room settings, a 9’ x 12’ or 10’ x 14’ rug makes a big statement. Plus, bigger rugs make the entire room look bigger. If you have a sectional, you should probably consider this size.

This rug is absolutely beautiful and totally surpassed my expectations! I wanted something with neutral tones that would provide contrast against my dark brown couches. The colors and pattern look exactly as shown and described by amazon. It is unbelievably soft and it rolled out flat on arrival. I believe the pattern is printed on, but you'd realy have to get down on the ground and inspect it to notice. If you're looking for an affordable rug, that doesnt look cheap, this is the one. I'd buy it again in a heartbeat! I love it!!!

Ordered 3 sizes of this rug for family room and entry ways. Love it!

It’s thin, and the design is printed. But it’s sooooo soft. Our kids will lay in front of the fireplace on it doing “carpet angels” haha.

The colors are muted and design is just different enough from the other budget options I found, that it looks a little more high end. Goes beautifully with our sort of “modern French country mountain house” mashup.

It doesn’t budge in our living room with the couches anchoring it, but it does slide a bit at the entryways. Gripper pads will help. It does a great job hiding dirt, snow, mud, astroturf, pizza crumbs from carpet picnics….vacuums easily and the smaller sizes go easily in the wash.

I spent way more time than I want to admit shopping for rugs all over town and online for something budget friendly that still looks beautiful. Very happy with this purchase and might order more for the basement!

Terracotta/Lagoon - I’m a fan of the loloi printed rugs, this is my 3rd loloi rug, but my 1st cloudpile rug. My friend had one at her house and it was so freaking soft I had to buy one for my kitchen. Just know the colors are never as vibrant as the product listing photos, so I always go off of the review photos, but this rug still looks great and it met my color expectations based on review photos. That said, it’s hard to accurately depict the colors in photos. I think the pattern will be forgiving of any stains. This is not the typical thin canvas material printed loloi rugs. The cloudpile rugs are still printed, but they are super soft, with a low pile, but the pile is plush and not like a stiff carpet rug. As you can see, my cats were immediately impressed with it within 30 seconds of me putting it down to try it out. Our home was built in 2000 and I’ve always hated these dated tile floors in the kitchen, but I have other projects that are more pressing at the moment - this rug is tying in the terracotta colors of the tile with the modern green I painted my cabinets and making me feel like I can live with the tile a little bit longer. I’m a big fan of this rug! If you are already a fan of printed rugs or loloi rugs, then I 100% recommend the cloudpile rugs. I plan to get another cloudpile rug for my son’s nursery. I love them
